I'm never really that sure what to blog about.
Should I blab about life? A favorite hobby or interest?
It's all so up in the air, so I guess I'll just continue with what I've been blogging about...anything under the sun.

So I have my night class in a little bit. We had to bring a layout idea for a website I hope mine isn't too complex to design from a beginner level. If so I can tweak it.

Later I have to get studying for Spanish! I am so bad at Spanish, I can't speak another language for the life of me.

That's pretty much all.

Oh, and it's almost the weekend! Wahoo, relaxation and studying . Can't wait!

Hello!

Well I finally figured out all the glitches on uploading/ saving the web pages from adobe indesign. I think they actually ended up very well. The look nice I hope. The designing part wasn't hard, but it was very difficult to save and upload. Scratch that, I thought it was much harder then it was. After figuring out how to convert it to a jpeg file the saving/ uploading was very easy. I however had to redo the pages 3 times because of the issues I had with saving/ uploading. That while annoying did help me become more comfortable with indesign.

In class the other day we began with some 'simple' coding. It wasn't too difficult. I feel like as long as you read through and figure out what everything means it wont be too bad. Except it seems like a very tedious task.

Anyways, It's finally the weekend. This time will give me some time to read through the textbook to hopefully gain a better understanding of coding.

This whole designing a web site layout is kinda stressful. Well the actual design part is actually really enjoyable. I like to figure out what should go where, and I have an interesting idea. The only problem however is that I cannot seem to save it.

Yesterday, I went to go make the layout in indesign. It was going really well. That is until a class came into the MAC lab. At this point I had to leave. I was finished doing the 3 layouts anyways but when I went to go save it, it would not save.

I was under the impression for some reason that the layouts were due today, so I decided to re do them today.

Again I got all the work done, this time the layouts were even more polished. As soon as I was done I went to go upload them to the turn in folder. Yet evidently I read incorrectly and the folder closed at 5 Wednesday, not 5 Thursday.

I however decided to still email in the work. After emailing it the files show that they can't be redeemed. Therefore I decided to print out the pages so I could at least have a back up in case they didn't show up on the file. Yet, of course they would not print.

What I've gathered from this experience is that I should probably get help in how to save files correctly off a MAC, because I apparently have no idea what I am doing.

I have finished classes for the day until my night class. So until 6:30 I will spend the day catching up on some reading for class.

I also have to remind myself to bring my flash drive to class later.

I'm excited to start learning how to edit.

I have used Adobe in design in high school to help design the year book. So I have some general knowledge with the program. I hope this knowledge will help me out.

First post

This is my first blog post! Exciting? I think yes.

I have tried  blogging before but I think this will be a fun experience to blog for class. I'm actually really excited to learn about web design, but extremely nervous at the same point. Coding sounds difficult, I hope it's not as hard as it seems. It shouldn't be...I hope. But I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Well besides that I started classes a couple weeks ago. So far it's going relatively well. I still have to get back into the swing of things. A summer of doing absolutely nothing really made me quite sluggish.

I have lots and lots of reading to do for classes, but I'll get that done.

Now, however I'm going to Chipolte.  Burritos before all. That's a life motto I intend to live by.

On a more serious not; I'm really lad to be back at Brockport. The work load isn't too bad and I love being back around my friends.
